Pray for Vocations

Lord,
may everything we do
begin with your inspiration,
continue with your help
and reach perfection under your guidance.
We ask this our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.

Prayer, of course, comes first in the promotion of vocations. No true growth comes except from God.

Please pray, fast, and give alms for the intention of many, holy priests and religious vocations in the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph.

In our diocese, the third Thursday of the month has been a regular day to attend Mass and offer prayers for priestly vocations—but every day is a good day to pray for future priests.
