FROM THE PASTORAL BULLETIN:

Statement at January 12-13 Masses

Our diocesan holy year of renewal comes to a close on the weekend of January 12-13. Presiders at the weekend masses are asked to introduce the Creed with these words: “The theme for our diocesan holy year of renewal has declared that we are one family of missionary disciples, an identity that originates in our baptism. Today as we conclude the holy year, Bishop Johnston invites us to proclaim the creed with special fervor as missionary disciples, for this is the faith of the church that makes us one.”
