November 1, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The Kansas City Symphony and Chorus are soon performing ‘A German Requiem’ by Johannes Brahms; instead of traditional texts for a Requiem Mass, Brahms chose passages from Martin Luther’s translation of the bible. Learn more about the music, the words, and biblical art at this special presentation by Fr. Paul Turner, Dr. James Brandt, Dr. Douglas McNair and Frank Byrne, Executive Director of the Kansas City Symphony.
