2026 – 2027 Permanent Diaconate Assignments

Bishop Johnston has made the following clergy assignments. Consequent to their ordination to the permanent diaconate on June 20, the following clergy assignments begin July 1, 2026: 

Benjamin Bongers has been assigned to Holy Spirit Parish in Lee’s Summit.

Eric Davis, Jr. has been assigned to St. Margaret of Scotland Parish in Lee’s Summit.

Jay Meacham has been assigned to St. James Parish in Liberty.

Rodney Simpson has been assigned to Holy Family Parish in Kansas City.

Rogelio Villanueva has been assigned to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Kansas City.
