2024-2025 Priest Assignments
Bishop Johnston has made the following clergy assignments effective July 1, 2024 (current assignments conclude June 30, 2024):
Rev. Matthew Bartulica has been appointed Parochial Administrator of Sacred Heart Parish, Hamilton. He retains his assignments as Chaplain at the Abbey of Our Lady of Ephesus, Gower, and Pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Easton. He concludes his assignment as Pastor of St. James Parish, St. Joseph.
Rev. Joseph Cisetti concludes his assignment as Parochial Administrator at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Gladstone.
Rev. Jonathan Davis has been appointed Parochial Administrator of St. James Parish, St. Joseph. He retains his current assignment as Pastor of St. Patrick Parish, St. Joseph.
Rev. Kevin Drew has been appointed Pastor of St. Ann Parish, Plattsburg. He retains his assignment as Pastor of St. Ann Parish, Excelsior Springs. He concludes his assignment as Pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish, Richmond.
Rev. Benjamin Fenlon has been assigned sacramental and pastoral ministry at St. Patrick and St. James Parishes, St. Joseph. He retains his offices as Parochial Vicar of Cathedral of St. Joseph and St. Mary Parish, St. Joseph.
Rev. William Fox has been appointed Parochial Administrator of St. Mary Parish, Carrollton, Immaculate Conception Parish, Richmond, and Sacred Heart Mission, Norborne.
Rev. Adam Haake has been assigned as Co-Chaplain to City On A Hill. He retains his assignment as Pastor of St. Margaret Parish, Lee’s Summit. He concludes his assignment as Chaplain of Catholic Campus Ministry at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Rev. Thomas Holder concludes his assignment as Parochial Administrator at St. John Francis Regis Parish, Kansas City.
Rev. Mr. Samuel Horan has been appointed Parochial Vicar of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Gladstone.
Rev. Kendall Ketterlin has been appointed Pastor of St. Mary Parish, Independence.
Rev. Garrett King has been appointed Parochial Administrator of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Joseph. He concludes his assignment as Parochial Vicar of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Gladstone.
Rev. Timothy Leete has been appointed Parochial Administrator of St. Joseph, Trenton, Blessed Sacrament Parish, Bethany, Mary Immaculate Parish, Gallatin, and Immaculate Heart of Mary Mission, Princeton. He concludes his assignment as Chaplain at the Jeanne Jugan Center, Kansas City.
Rev. Emmanuel Garduño López has been appointed Parochial Administrator of St. John Francis Regis Parish, Kansas City.
Rev. Christian Malewski concludes his term as Pastor at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Joseph, and transitions to Spiritual Director at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary.
Rev. Andrew Mattingly concludes his term as Co-Chaplain to City On A Hill.
Rev. Ralph Obetia, AJ has been appointed Parochial Vicar of St. Peter Parish, Kansas City, and to serve on the diocesan Tribunal.
Rev. George Palliparambil has been appointed Parochial Vicar of St. John LaLande Parish, Blue Springs.
Rev. Paul Sappington has been assigned Chaplain of Catholic Campus Ministry at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He retains his current assignment as Chaplain of St. Michael the Archangel High School, Lee’s Summit.
Rev. Eric Schneider has been appointed Parochial Administrator of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Gladstone. He concludes his assignment as Pastor of St. Ann Parish, Plattsburg.
Rev. Luis Felipe Suarez has been appointed Pastor of Sacred Heart-Guadalupe, Kansas City.
Rev. Pius Wesonga, AJ has been appointed Parochial Vicar of St. Thomas More Parish, Kansas City.
Subsequent to his May 18 ordination to the Holy Order of Diaconate, Bishop Johnston has made the following assignment:
Mr. Ethan Osborn has been assigned to assist the Pastor of St. John LaLande Parish, Blue Springs, as his assigned studies allow.
