Clergy assignment updates | October – November
Bishop Johnston has made the following priest assignments effective November 1, 2023:
Fr. Thomas Holder has been assigned Interim President of St. Michael High School. He retains his current assignments at Our Lady of the Presentation Parish and St. John Francis Regis Parish.
Fr. Timothy Leete has been assigned parochial administrator of Seven Dolors Parish in Hurlingen. He retains his current assignment at Jeanne Jugan Center.
Fr. Benjamin Armentrout has been assigned to sacramental and pastoral ministry at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Joseph. He retains his current assignments at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, St. Mary Parish in St. Joseph and Bishop LeBlond High School.
Fr. Dominic Duc Nguyen has been assigned to sacramental and pastoral ministry at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Joseph. He retains his current assignments at St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Tarkio, Cathedral of St. Joseph, and St. Mary Parish in St. Joseph.
Fr. Christian Malewski has been assigned to sacramental ministry at St. Thomas More Parish, Kansas City. He has been relieved of his duties and obligations at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Joseph, and Seven Dolors Parish, Hurlingen, effective Oct. 20, 2023.
Bishop Johnston has made the following priest assignments effective October 23, 2023:
Fr. Ramiro Sanchez Chan, c.s. had been assigned as parochial administrator of Holy Rosary Parish, Kansas City.
Fr. Hoang Phil Liem Nguyen, c.s. concludes his assignment as pastor of Holy Rosary Parish, Kansas City.
Bishop Johnston has made the following priest assignment effective October 21, 2023:
Fr. Stephen Hansen has been assigned parochial administrator of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Joseph. He retains his current assignments at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, St. Mary Parish in St. Joseph and the Catholic Medical Association of St. Joseph

Bishop Johnston made the following clergy assignments effective November 15, 2023:
Dcn. Kenneth Albers concludes his assignment as Formation Director for the Diaconate Office.
Bishop Johnston made the following clergy assignment effective November 28, 2023:
Dcn. Doug Hemke has been granted a leave from his assignment at St. James Parish, St. Joseph.
