May 2021: Clergy Assignments
Bishop Johnston has made the following clergy assignments effective July 1, 2021:
Rev. Joshua Barlett has been appointed Chaplain to the Northwest Missouri State University Newman Center, Maryville. He also retains his other assignments, including Pastor at St. Rose of Lima Savannah and St. Patrick Mission, Forest City.
Rev. Jayson Becker has been appointed Parochial Administrator of Immaculate Conception Parish, Lexington and Church of Santa Fe Parish, Buckner.
Rev. John Bolderson has been appointed Parochial Administrator of St. Ann Parish, Independence and St. Cyril Parish, Sugar Creek.
Rev. Jonathan Davis has been appointed Pastor of St. Patrick Parish, St. Joseph. He retains his other assignments, including Chaplain at Bishop LeBlond High School.
Rev. Kevin Drew has been appointed Pastor of St. Ann Parish, Excelsior Springs and Immaculate Conception Parish, Richmond.
Rev. Devasahayam Gudime has been appointed Pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Trenton; Blessed Sacrament Parish, Bethany; and Immaculate Heart of Mary Mission, Princeton.
Rev. Stephen Hansen has been appointed Pastor of St. Mary Parish, St. Joseph. He retains his other assignments, including Pastor of Cathedral of St. Joseph.
Rev. Andrew Kleine has been appointed Parochial Vicar of St. Thomas More Parish, Kansas City and Chaplain at St. Michael the Archangel High School, Lee’s Summit.
Rev. Alex Kreidler, JCL has been appointed Pastor of St. Gabriel Parish, Kansas City.
Rev. Timothy Leete has been appointed Chaplain to Jeanne Jugan Center (Little Sisters of the Poor).
Rev. Gabriel Lickteig has been appointed Parochial Administrator of Sacred Heart Parish, Warrensburg and Chaplain to the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg.
Rev. Samuel Miloscia has been appointed Parochial Vicar of Holy Spirit and St. Margaret of Scotland Parishes, Lee’s Summit.
Rev. Dominic Duc Nguyen has been appointed Pastor of St. Paul Parish, Tarkio; Seven Dolors Parish, Hurlingen; and St. Benedict Mission, Burlington Junction.
Rev. Joseph Powers has been appointed Pastor of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Independence. He retains his other assignments, including Pastor of St. Mark Parish, Independence.
Rev. Joseph D. Reardon, LCDR, CHC, USN has been appointed Pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Harrisonville and Holy Trinity Mission, Urich.
Rev. Nathan Rueb has been appointed Chaplain and Religion Teacher at St. Pius X High School, Kansas City. He has also been assigned to weekend sacramental ministry at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Raytown and Coronation of Our Lady Parish, Grandview. He has been given permission to teach at William Jewell College, Liberty.
Rev. Eric Schneider has been appointed Pastor of St. Ann Parish, Plattsburg and St. Joseph Parish, Easton.
Rev. Joseph Sharbel has been appointed Pastor of Holy Spirit and St. Margaret of Scotland Parishes, Lee’s Summit.
Rev. Robert Stone has been appointed Pastor of St. Bernadette Parish, Kansas City. He retains his other assignments, including Pastor of Nativity of Mary Parish, Independence.
Rev. Joseph Totton has been appointed Pastor of St. James Parish, St. Joseph.
Subsequent to their May 29 ordination to the Priesthood, Bishop Johnston has made the following assignments effective July 1, 2021:
Rev. Mr. Benjamin Armentrout will be assigned Parochial Vicar of Cathedral of St. Joseph and St. Mary Parishes, St. Joseph, and Chaplain to Missouri Western State College, St. Joseph.
Rev. Mr. Garrett King will be assigned Parochial Vicar of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Gladstone.
Rev. Mr. Randolfo Lemus will be assigned Parochial Vicar of St. Therese North Parish, Kansas City.
Bishop Johnston has concluded the following assignments effective June 30, 2021:
Rev. Brian Amthor concludes his assignment as Chaplain to the Newman Center at the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg. He retains his other assignments, including Pastor of St. George Parish, Odessa and St. Jude Parish, Oak Grove.
Rev. Joseph Bathke, CPPS will conclude his office as Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, Warrensburg.
Rev. Albert Bruecken, OSB will conclude his service as Pastor of St. Paul the Apostle Parish, Tarkio and St. Benedict Mission, Burlington Junction. He retains his assignment as Pastor of St. Gregory Barbarigo Parish, Maryville.
Rev. Ronald Elliott will conclude his service as Parochial Administrator of the Church of the Santa Fe Parish, Buckner.
Rev. Christian Malewski concludes his assignment as Parochial Administrator at Seven Dolors Parish, Hurlingen. He retains his other assignments, including Pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Joseph.

Bishop Johnston made the following clergy assignments between September 2, 2020 and June 5, 2021:
Deacon Joseph Zagar was appointed to St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, Blue Springs effective September 2, 2020. He retains his assignment at St. Michael the Archangel High School, Lee’s Summit.
Deacon Ralph McNeal was appointed to Coronation of Our Lady Parish, Grandview on November 23, 2020. He retains his other assignments, including ministry at St. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City.
Rev. Stephen Hansen was reappointed Chaplain of the St. Raphael Guild of the Catholic Medical Association effective February 19, 2021.
Rev. Ravindranath Jose Talari was appointed Parochial Vicar of St. Peter and St. Therese Little Flower Parishes, Kansas City effective March 9, 2021.
Deacon Samuel E. Adams was reappointed to St. John Francis Regis, Kansas City effective March 18, 2021.
Rev. Lac Pham, CPPS was appointed Parochial Administrator of St. Francis Xavier Parish, St. Joseph effective March 26, 2021, until June 4, 2021.
Rev. Louis Farley was appointed Parochial Vicar of Christ the King Parish, Kansas City effective May 1, 2021.
Rev. Al Ebach, CPPS is appointed Parochial Administrator of St. Francis Xavier Parish, St. Joseph effective June 5, 2021.
