Message from Bishop Johnston

Sharing a few thoughts with you all in this time of anxiety and worry that we’re in, not only here but around the world…
I want to assure you that the Mass is still being offered in private by me and all of our priests…we lift all of you up, all of our needs, all of our intentions, in the Mass; and I hope that at some point we’ll be able to restore it’s public celebration. Our priests also stand by to offer all of the other sacraments, especially in an emergency, such as when someone is dying.
I encourage you to use this extra time to pray together as a family, especially when you’d normally go to Mass. Remember others in prayer, and also be mindful of others who may be alone, shut in, the elderly, and are more isolated than ever; this is a time to rise to the occasion with our charity, too.
