A city-wide prayer vigil in solidarity with immigrant and refugee families will be held at St. John Francis Regis Parish, 8941 James A. Reed Road, on Saturday, October 7. We invite you to join us to stand in solidarity with our DACA students, immigrant, and refugee families by creating a safe place where mercy, hope, and justice may flourish.
Beginning with a 4:30 p.m. Mass, we will celebrate the diversity of our Catholic faith by having the Matachines (traditional religious dancers) open and end our Mass followed by an outdoor Living Rosary, then food and fellowship with DACA students in the Archbishop O’Hara Commons.
This event is in collaboration with the Diocesan Offices of Hispanic Ministry and Human Rights. Please contact Deacon Ken at (816) 313-9953 or email@example.com for questions or to volunteer in this ministry of mercy.
